Recipe for Getting Over a Breakup:
-1/8 part tears. Experience is a great seasoning for life, and you’ve probably had some sitting on your shelf that needed to be used up anyway.
-45 mins. volleyball with two of your good friends. Don’t worry about looking good.
-2 meals worth of Chinese food. Make sure you know how to warm it up.
-1 fat cat asleep on your lap, mixed with equal parts Legend of Zelda playing time.
-3 beautiful roommates
-2 good playlists - one slow, followed with one happy. Beach Boys optional. Gungor required.
-A handful of caring friends
-A liberal dash of optimism
Mix together, and pour into one day. Make sure you expose it to a bright, warm environment. Serve immediately with a huge side of hope and faith. Allow plenty of time to enjoy what peace there may be in silence and reflection. Serves 1, but ingredients keep well for further use.
