An Update
So, some of you followers may remember that a while back, on December 30th, I posted the saddest of sad posts, in which, with much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I realized I had left my friend shamrock plant William Butler at the dorm over Christmas Break with the temperature turned way down and no water. My exact lamentation was “That is three weeks of cold and starvation and he was just about to bloom.”
And when I got back to school, things weren’t pretty. I don’t have an exact picture of what William Butler looked like when I walked in, but I can do a pretty good impression of it in person, and I illustrated this picture to give you all an idea of the situation:
But, I’m here to say that through much love, water, sunlight, pleading and some miracle grow, William Butler is happy and thriving and he is even blooming again!
Just look at him grow! Sniff, I’m so glad he’s okay.
